CRGT apprentice Joshua Anthony won 2007 HIA Cairns BCITF Apprentice of the Year held in September.
Joshua commenced his Carpentry apprenticeship in 2006 as a school based apprentice with Glenn Eden from Eden Carpentry and went onto to become a full time apprentice currently in the 2nd year.
Glenn has a long association with CRGT, having commenced his apprenticeship with us some 10 years ago. We are proud that Glenn has gone on to become a builder in his own right and has continued his association with CRGT as a host employer to provide the same opportunities as he was offered as a young adult. Glenn currently employs two full time carpentry apprentices with CRGT.
Joshua will now go onto the HIA Regional Finals held in Townsville on 13 October and CRGT wishes him all the very best.
George Sailor & Ronald Kris - RoadTek Trainees to the Rescue

All 3 of the passengers were removed from the up-turned vehicle, placed into the back of George & Ronald’s utility and treated with basic first-aid, before being transported to the Weipa Hospital. Two of the passengers required air-lifting to the Cairns Base Hospital. All of the passengers involved in the accident were very thankful and lucky the RoadTek boys were on the scene and their newly acquired first-aid skills learned as part of their traineeship came into practice.
