Cairns Region Group Training (CRGT) is a not-for-profit group training company established in 1984 to offer apprenticeship & traineeship opportunities and positive training outcomes across a range of industries.

CRGT currently employs over 1,000 Apprentices and Trainees in conjunction with more than 400 host employers across Far North Queensland. Our area of service extends from Cardwell to the Torres Strait Islands and west across the Gulf of Carpentaria.

Together we are developing a skilled, local workforce and creating additional employment opportunities within the Far North Queensland region.

A board of directors, comprising of local business people administer our operation, bringing with them a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organisation.
