Skill360 Northern Pride Great Ambassadors For Cairns

Media Release — 6 September 2009

The naming rights sponsor of the Northern Pride Rugby League Club, Skill360 Australia, has welcomed the team’s entry into the 2009 QRL Grand Final next weekend following a 22-10 victory over the Central Comets yesterday.

“For a team in its second year, this is a tremendous result and reflects well on the guys, both as individuals and as team” said Troy Williams, CEO of Skill360 Australia.

Mr Williams said it was pleasing that players at the Skill360 Australia Northern Pride were able to put behind them the debate on the location of where yesterday’s game should have been played, and made a difference where it counted – on the field.

“Skill360 Australia could not be happier with the Pride’s performance, not only yesterday but throughout the year. The team have been great ambassadors for the game, for Cairns and for Skill360 Australia,” Mr Williams said.

Skill360 Australia was one of the first organisations to get the Northern Pride off the ground when the team was first proposed and according to Mr Williams, the partnership has worked well.

“The Skill360 Australia Northern Pride is a professional outfit and we are happy to be associated with them. We can not speak highly enough of the players, coaching staff and administration,” Mr Williams said.

“All of us at Skill360 Australia wish them well for the grand final,” Mr Williams concluded.

Ends.
